UGC NET June 2025 application correction open till this date: Check list of editable fields here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in June 2025. As per the schedule, the application correction window for UGC NET exam is currently open at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Registered candidates can make corrections in their application form till May 15, 2025.

Students must note that corrections in the UGC NET application forms are acceptable in only selected fields. Candidates will not be allowed to make changes in their choice of subjects in the UGC NET exam. Once the application correction facility is over, the NTA will prepare the admit cards for registered candidates. UGC NET admit cards will be released a few days before the date of examination.

Editable fields in UGC NET application form 2025The NTA has issued the list of fields which can be edited in the UGC NET application form. The list is mentioned below:
Changes allowed

• Date of birth
• Category
• Father’s name
• Mother’s name.

Changes not allowed

• Candidate’s name
• Gender
• Photo
• Signature
• Mobile number
• Email address
• Permanent and correspondence address
• Exam city

What after UGC NET form correction process?After the UGC NET application correction window is closed, the NTA authorities will issue the advance city intimation slips for candidates. The city intimation slip is expected to be issued eight to ten days before the date of examination. Meanwhile, the UGC NET admit card is expected to be released two to three days before the examination date.
