A beautiful island that is widely known for its vibrant culture, lush greenery, and pristine environment, has been named as one of the most relaxing places to visit in 2025.

The destination located in Asia was pointed out by International eSim provider, Holafly, which assessed various destinations based on several key health metrics, including acess to parks and nature reserves, the number of spas and wellness centres, air quality, the average annual sunshine hours, traffic congestion and happiness.

The destination in question is Singapore, Holafay describes the island country and city-state as a modern city with a "focus on wellness and green space."

Singapore boasts an impressive 242 parks for locals and visitors, which is no surprise as green living is a priority in the city. In fact, Singapore plans to greenify the entire city-state by 2030.

And now, what is a so-called relaxing city without wellness spots for those present to enjoy? Luckily, Singapore has more than enough-698 to be exact. With the city's professional and skilled therapists and the range of treatments provided, it is nearly impossible for people not to have a tranquil experience.

Aramsa, the Garden Spa is amongst one of the best spas across Singapore. Rated an impressive 4.9-stars on TripAdvisor, has been praised for its "good services" and "peaceful surroundings", with visitors "highly" recommending it to others.

Singapore also scored the highest in overall happiness. Year after year, it has been recognised as one of the happiest cities or countries in the world, which speaks to what to expect when visiting the destination.

The city also excelled in other catergories, with the eSim provider noting that the city has good air quality and enjoys 2,022 hours of sunshine a year, which is nearly 500 more hours than in the UK.

Holafay said: "Sinagpore is a good example of a modern city that still manages to feel peaceful and green, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing city break."
