Nobody Wants This creator Erin Foster is lining up a new romantic-comedy series.
Described as a "destination wedding" comedy, Foster will be swapping Netflix for rival streamer Hulu.
Her hit Netflix series starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell has become one of the streaming platform's most popular new shows, with a second season dropping this past Friday (24th October).
Foster is now co-writing the untitled Hulu project with Adam Countee, known for scripting episodes of Severance and Silicon Valley.
Deadline describes the series as "a sweeping, epic ensemble romantic comedy that follows a group of couples and singles to a lavish, extravagant destination wedding where their stories intersect and collide over the course of one very long weekend."
Hulu was quick to snatch up the series, reportedly buying rights to the series preemptively after witnessing the runaway success of Nobody Wants This.
The streamer, which has many of its most popular shows available on Disney+ in the UK, is likely to have made a smart decision as Foster's first series generated 50 million views in its first six weeks of release.
It was at the top of Netflix's charts for two of those weeks and also scored several Emmy nominations.
Season two has enjoyed similar success, once again shooting to the top of Netflix's TV top 10, beating out recent hits such as Monster: The Ed Gein Story and Victoria Beckham.
The Independent called the new season "endlessly moreish" with "sparkling" chemistry between the two leads, though admitted some of the storylines feel a little rushed.
And the praise continued on X where one fan posted: "Nobody Wants This S2 was better than I expected!!
"I honestly thought they'll drop the ball and make it too different or too simple ... but really all the characters were intact and it was eventful.
"Satisfying ending even if predictable. Hoping for Season 3!"
And another agreed: "Please please let there be a season 3 and beyond...that was soo good."
While Netflix has yet to confirm a third season of Nobody Wants This, the writers' room is reportedly already getting started on the next chapter of Noah and Joanne's story.
Nobody Wants This is available to stream on Netflix.
