M25 traffic: Crash closes major motorway sparking travel chaos

Traffic was stopped on a busy stretch of the M25 due to a crash tonight (August 28).

The incident was on the M25 clockwise between J18 (Chorleywood) and J19 (Watford).

Traffic was temporarily stopped, with delays of 45 minutes on approach.

National Highways urged drivers to allow extra journey time.

The incident was expected to clear and normal traffic conditions return between 11pm and 11.15pm.
