BBC fans have reacted after the latest 'murdered' celebrity was revealed. Picking up from last night's cliffhanger, the show had previously ended with another incorrect banishment when EastEnders actress Tameka Empson received four votes from her fellow contestants who thought she was a Traitor. What's more, Tom Daley was chosen by Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns to be the second person they did away with. However, a third celebrity has now been chosen as the next victim. David Olusoga, Charlotte Church, and Ruth Codd were all facing the threat of becoming the Traitors' next target. It turned out to be the end of the road for Ruth.
Viewers who were watching at home were less than impressed with the reveal. One person said: "Noooo, they did not! #CelebrityTraitors." A second also chimed in: "THEY GOT RUTH #CelebrityTraitors." A third also typed: "ANOTHER DIVA DOWN #CelebrityTraitors."
Yesterday, Tom Daley revealed he was "gutted" to be the second murder victim on Celebrity Traitors.
Seeing the note informing him of his murder, Tom said: "Oh dear. Look at that. Well that didn't take long did it?
"I am gutted to be leaving the game. I think I was murdered because people will see me as a threat and they think I'll weasel them out eventually. Now I guess I'll go and do one final dive into my grave."
Meanwhile, Alan was delighted by the group's reaction to the murder. He bluntly said: "It was just the kind of impact I wanted - Where's Tom? Why Tom? Well he's been murdered, deal with it."
Earlier this week, Niko Omilana was mistakenly banished by the group after being incorrectly identified as a Traitor.
He said afterwards: "I just wanna say I can't believe I'm out so quickly but it's been an honour getting to know every single one of you, you're all great people. I can now reveal this whole time I've been honest and I'm a Faithful."
