On August 26, a sensation spread in the Industrial Police Station area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, when a large bag was found lying in the drain near Hi-Tech City Lawayan Kuria village. A local woman saw the incident and immediately informed the police. The police have now solved the case after a lot of hard work.
Police investigation revealed that the body was that of a 17-year-old teenager. In the initial investigation, the body could not be identified, but later, with the help of the report and CCTV footage, the police solved the murder mystery. In fact, on August 26, a woman named Kamini Singh had filed a report of the kidnapping of her son, Piyush, in the Industrial Police Station. The body was identified as that woman's son.
The suspect was identified from CCTV footageThe police took the investigation forward and engaged Yamunanagar and City SOG. On scanning the CCTV footage, a suspect was identified as a person named Sharan Singh, who is the grandfather of the deceased. The police arrested Sharan Singh. The saw, axe, and cash used in the murder were recovered from him. During police interrogation, the accused made a sensational disclosure. He told that in the years 2023 and 2024, his son and daughter had committed suicide.
After these two incidents, he broke down mentally and then he contacted a Tantrik. The Tantrik told Sharan Singh that the grandmother of the deceased (Piyush) had done black magic on his family, due to which his family was ruined. Out of superstition and anger, Sharan Singh kidnapped the teenager who was his grandson in relation and brutally murdered him. After the murder, the accused packed the body pieces in a bag and threw them at different places.
Police in search of TantrikPolice said that the body of the deceased has been partially recovered from the Industrial Police Station area and the Kareli Police Station area. It has been sent for post-mortem. Police have arrested Sharan Singh and now teams have been formed to search for the Tantrik who instigated the accused.
