Constipation Remedy: A yoga expert has shared a simple 3-step routine you can follow in the morning to relieve constipation. Let's find out what you need to do.
Natural ways to relieve constipation quickly : Constipation has become a common problem these days. The reasons for this are our changing lifestyles, irregular eating habits, and lack of physical activity. If this problem is not addressed promptly, it can lead to many other complications, especially serious illnesses like hemorrhoids. However, one relief is that yoga and Ayurveda offer simple and effective remedies for relieving constipation. In this regard, yoga expert Khushi Bajwa has shared a simple 3-step routine on her YouTube channel, which you can follow in the morning to relieve constipation. Let's find out what you need to do for this.
Step 1- Lukewarm lemon water and MalasanaFirst thing in the morning, drink lukewarm water, add lemon juice, and sip slowly. This cleanses the stomach from within and improves digestion. While drinking this water, sit in Malasana (a deep squat position). This pose puts gentle pressure on the abdomen, facilitating bowel movement and relieving constipation.
Step 2 – Kati Chakrasana and Triyak Bhujangasana
After drinking lukewarm water, it's important to lightly stretch your body. To do this, perform Kati Chakrasana, which involves rotating your waist left and right. This asana flexes the spine and activates the abdominal muscles.
Next, perform Triyak Bhujangasana (Triyaka Bhujangasana). This involves assuming the Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) position and twisting the body to the right and left. This stretches the abdomen well and aids digestion.
Step 3 – Malasana and Pavanmuktasana
Finally, perform Malasana again, but this time, bend one leg to the side and turn the body in the opposite direction. Hold for a while. This puts gentle pressure on the intestines.
Yoga experts say that you can see results just by doing this much. However, if you still don't get relief, try Pavanmuktasana. This involves lying on your back, bending both legs and pulling your knees toward your chest. This is a very effective yoga posture for relieving gas and constipation.
