This Morning presenter Jeff Brazier couldn't help but comment on Alison Hammond's outfit during Friday's programme.
Throughout the latest episode, Jeff, 46, was presenting his regular competition segment when he suddenly remarked: "Alison, I'm looking at your dress, it's lovely, I'm just wondering what's it made of?"
Alison, 50, confessed: "You know what, I don't actually know! I thought it was leather but I don't think it's leather because it smells a bit weird... smell it!" she said, urging co-presenter Dermot O'Leary to take a whiff.

Jeff quipped: "It looks waterproof!" whilst Alison exclaimed: "I think it's PVC!" as Dermot, 52, maintained: "It's nice that, it smells nice!", reports Wales Online.
Alison then confessed about her garment's fabric: "I think it's PVC, is it plastic? It's something rubbish so I'm going to donate it to charity afterwards don't worry!"
Nevertheless, Dermot was swift to protest: "Don't donate that, it's a work of art... that should be in the V&A! The Alison Hammond exhibition!".
This follows Alison's fans expressing stunned views after the host unveiled her dramatic makeover. Audiences have been left gobsmacked after "unrecognisable" Alison showcased her new look following an incredible weight loss.
She garnered acclaim last week for her stunning appearance at the National Television Awards and supporters have been left astounded after her makeup artist shared a snap of her looking absolutely radiant. "She's sunshine in human form," gushed Mikey Phillips, known as Make-up by Mikey, after posting a radiant photo of Alison.
Alison was all smiles as she posed for the camera at Welford Park, Berkshire. The post, shared on Wednesday [September 17], quickly garnered a flurry of responses. Strictly star Vicky Pattison chimed in: "She's too fit."
"Bloomin' gorgeous - truly beautiful on the inside and out," another fan wrote. "You look sensational," added a third.
"You are looking unreal," complimented another follower. Another comment read: "Such an inspirational weight loss journey. Hard work pays off and you look incredible."
One person exclaimed: "Wow did not even recognise you Alison you look fantastic."
The 50-year-old telly presenter recently disclosed that the devastating loss of her mother, who had Type 2 diabetes, was the catalyst for her lifestyle overhaul.
In a candid chat with Good Housekeeping, Alison confessed: "My mum had Type 2 diabetes and she was worried for me, so when I then found out that I was pre-diabetic, that was frightening. I thought, I have to be an adult about this. The sweets had to stop – and the fatty foods."

Alison, who once weighed in at 28st, now works with a personal trainer and dedicates herself to fitness sessions twice a week. She also practises yoga, enjoys walks, incorporates plenty of stretching into her routine and keeps weights in her bedroom.
Moreover, Alison's dietary changes have not only helped her lose an impressive 11 stone but also reversed her pre-diabetic condition. Despite her healthy eating habits, she still allows herself the occasional treat.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping, Alison said: "Because my body's working properly, I can allow myself a bit of sugar here and there. I love my new shape. It's great being able to wear things I would never have been able to before. I mean, look at me, I'm a bombshell."
This Morning continues on weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV X.
