Primark shoppers might be transported back to the 2000s when seeing the latest collaboration to hit the shelves of the discount fashion chain. The high street store recently revealed its new range that was inspired by The Sims, which includes 'cosy' pyjamas and loungewear, ideal for a comfy gaming session.
Fans of the popular life simulation video game flocked to Primark to find the items for themselves, as official The Sims merchandise is rarely seen. Shoppers could choose from a £22 cotton pair of button-up Boyfriend Pyjamas, which include long sleeves, bottoms, and many icons from the game itself.
There's also a pair of Wide-Leg Pyjama Bottoms featuring the classic green Plumbob logo and a Cropped Pyjama top featuring one of the game's most iconic money-making cheat codes. Both items are available to buy separately but are intended to be worn as a set—the top costs £9 and the bottoms £12.

If long pyjamas aren't your style, Primark has also given gamers the option of shorter pyjamas, which come with a similar design print on shorts and a 'boxy' t-shirt for £11. Primark bosses claim that the set will make "a great accompaniment to chilled-out evenings spent setting up happy families in the EA gaming classic."
Primark added: "Wear them with slippers while you’re designing dream homes down to the last perfectly placed plant, or when you’re deleting the pool ladder while your Sims swim (we saw you do it, don’t lie)."
For fans who want to appreciate a more subtle nod to their favourite childhood video game, Primark has also got a 3-pack of The Sims-inspired Crew Socks for £4.50. Online, Primark says: "With rib cuffs offering a secure fit, each pair is decorated with unique Sims-themed designs, from the iconic “Sul Sul” greeting to the Plumbob logo.
"There’s even a fun nod to the Motherlode cheat code on the sole of one pair. Why not wear them with low-rise trainers and sneakily show off your love for the simulation game?"
The life simulation game was a huge hit in the early 2000s when the original Sims game launched for PCs. In the last 25 years, fans of the franchises have seen their beloved community evolve as the computer game grew to include almost every aspect of daily life—as well as some fun and quirky twists.
Dozens replied when the range was shown off by staff at the city centre Liverpool branch of Primark on TikTok. A worker wrote: "The Sims pyjamas have arrived at Primark Liverpool!"
One said: "I actually bought [the Boyfriend Pyjamas] and they are really good quality. Some of the comfiest pjs that I own!" Another added: "Bought these today and can confirm they are super comfy and soft!"
A third commented: "I'm obsessed! Love the Sims!" Someone else posted: "Take my money Primark because I'm going to need it all!"

One fan pointed out: "The fact that the freezer bunny is nowhere to be seen!" And, one more TikTok user responded to the video with: "I got mine today from click and collect."
According to Primark's digital stock tracker, some items are showing as available for click and collect, while others are in-store only. People have gotten lucky when going to their nearest Primark branch and looking in person at the new arrivals, with some fans claiming the whole collection.
