Kate Middleton's suede jacket is autumn's new trending colour – here's where to shop the look

A suede jacket is one of the ultimate go-tos every time autumn rolls around, but whilst we usually opt for various shades of brown and tan, this season is all about embracing some brand new tonal colours. And who better to lead the way with her autumn wardrobe than Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton?

During a recent outing with First Lady Melania Trump during her state visit, the pair went on a tour of Frogmore Cottage’s grounds, where they met members of the Scouts' Squirrels programme. Both Princess Kate and Melania opted for autumn-ready suede jackets for the outing, but Kate’s olive green version was a showstopper, and we know exactly where to shop it.

Princess Kate’s exact jacket was Me + Em’s Suede Cropped Military Jacket which was on sale for £275 down from £550 but has since completely sold out. However there have been some great alternatives elsewhere, and one that caught our eye is Fat Face’s Erin Olive Green Suede Jacket which you can still shop for £255.

Just like Princess Kate’s jacket, the Fat Face one is made from 100% real suede and has the same timeless vibe whilst still being modern and trendy. However it does differ in its silhouette, with the Fat Face jacket being a longer length with a more traditional button-up fastening, rather than a cropped blazer-style shape.

Fat Face’s Erin Olive Green Suede Jacket has two front pockets with a shirt-style lapel and buttons all the way up to the neckline to keep you warm against the autumn chill. However one that’s still in stock in a wide range of sizes is the Asos Design Faux Suede Car Coat In Olive which is now £45 down from £60 but still stocked in all sizes from a four to an 18.
