Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) has announced a three-year partnership with JioStar, which will serve as the league’s Official Broadcast & Streaming Partner through 2027. Under the agreement, JioStar will provide exclusive live, multilingual coverage across television and digital platforms, aimed at increasing the sport’s reach in India.

The upcoming UTT Season 6 will be broadcast on Star Sports 2 (on opening day), Star Sports Khel, and Star Sports Tamil, with matches also available for streaming on JioHotstar in English, Hindi, and Tamil.

The league will feature a mix of emerging Indian talent and established international names. Young players such as Diya Chitale, Payas Jain, Ankur Bhattacharjee, and Yashaswini Ghorpade will join Olympians Aruna Quadri, Alvaro Robles, Bernadette Szocs, Adriana Diaz, and China’s Fan Siqi. India’s leading players—Manika Batra, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, Harmeet Desai, and Sreeja Akula—will also be in action.

Sanctioned by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) and promoted by Niraj Bajaj and Vita Dani, UTT has seen steady growth in recent years. The 2024 season recorded 20 million viewers across TV and digital platforms, a 1.3x increase over the previous year. The league hopes the new broadcast arrangement will help expand its audience further.

Speaking on the partnership, UTT co-promoters Vita Dani and Niraj Bajaj said: “Over the past few years, Indian table tennis has made meaningful strides, and UTT’s mission has been to accelerate that progress by providing a world-class platform for homegrown talent. Our partnership with JioStar for the next three seasons will help us deepen that impact by reaching more households, engaging new audiences, and laying a stronger foundation for the next generation of Indian table tennis stars.”

In the run-up to Season 6, UTT and JioStar will begin promotional programming from May 12, offering fans insights into teams and players ahead of the tournament.

The sixth season will feature 48 players across eight franchises: Ahmedabad SG Pipers, Chennai Lions, Dabang Delhi TTC, Dempo Goa Challengers TT, Jaipur Patriots, Kolkata ThunderBlades, PBG Pune Jaguars, and U Mumba TT. The Dempo Goa Challengers, led by Harmeet Desai, will be defending their title after back-to-back championship wins.
