Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for UPSC Civil Services 2025 Preliminary Examination. Candidates who have applied to appear in the exam. They can download their admit card by visiting the official website of the commission , and entering the application number. The hall ticket contains important information, including the exam date, place, time, and the name of the candidate.

The preliminary examination will be conducted on 25th May at various centers across the country. The exam will be in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates successful in the preliminary examination will appear in the main examination. At the same time, candidates passing the mains exam will be given an interview. The final selection will be done based on marks obtained in the interview and the main examination.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2025: How many posts are to be recruited?

A total of 979 posts are to be recruited through the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. These posts include major services like the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). Additionally, 150 posts will be filled through the Indian Forest Service Examination 2025.

The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually to select candidates for various Group A and Group B services in the Government of India. Along with IAS, IPS, and IFS, selection will also be done for Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Postal Service, Indian Trade Service and other allied services. The selection process consists of three stages. Preliminary, Main and Interview.
